Here onwards, we would be providing more facilities to our students. These facilities will include, free e-books of the subjects covered in the respective curriculum and Student login facility, so as to check the course progress and update personal details manually.
Our next focus is to expand the wings into management section. For this purpose, we are planning to provide online tutorials for MBA students from the next session onwards. Apart from this, we are feeling glad to announce that students will get their assignments under their student login.
We welcome our students to advise us about more facilities that they are waiting for. Sooner or later, we will open more branches of AmanSoft GIMT in the areas where the student strength becomes more than 1000. Distance Learning Courses..
Today I am sharing my views on Distance Education in India...
I would like to start by defining Distance Education. Basically, distance learning is a mode of education where student is allowed to study the course contents at his comfort. Student can take admission in distance learning courses along with his job or any other time consuming activity. The pressure is focused on examinations only, as the student is provided with online/ offline study materials and he has to appear for examinations only.
Few universities like SMU, PTU, etc., provide weekend classes to their students enrolled for different programs. However, there are number of universities which focus on providing the study material and allow the student to study at their own.
As per the recent instructions passed by Government of India, now any distance learning university is not allowed to open its study center outside the state. This rule has made many universities to shut down their study centers located outside their operational territory.
Also, as per the government instructions, it is not possible to provide distance learning for any practical based course, like engineering & medical courses.
The most common course preferred by working professional to enhance their education is MBA.
MBA stands for Master of Business Administration. This course falls under management category and one can take admission for MBA program after completing the graduation in any stream.
Apart from MBA, there exists a large list of courses that can be pursued in distance mode. Few of them are Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM), Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Masters in the similar profile.
There are many reputed institutes in Delhi NCR which provide distance learning from UGC & DEC recognised university. Students are advised to check the university details and college performance before taking admission for any distance learning program.
